My brother had his out in the ER...mom had hers out about 20 years ago, SIL about 15 years ago...I finally had long enough "episodes" of extreme pain (2-3 hours) for my doc to take me seriously! I'm just glad to have a solution so I don't have any more attacks...they are blinding...and I had it radiate into my right shoulder and hip. Ugh is right!Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18161000071267347942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2891757498715854574.post-69631993788759358142012-05-31T22:20:44.702-07:002012-05-31T22:20:44.702-07:00UGH!!!!!! Good luck with the gall bladder... I had...UGH!!!!!! Good luck with the gall bladder... I had mine out last March and it was HORRIBLE!! Hopefully your surgeon is better than mine... as mine didn't get 'all the air out' of me (ask your surgeon... he will know what that means....) and so I had EXTREME shoulder pain (from the air thing.. it's hard to explain in writing...again... your surgeon will know... so PLEASE ask him/her!!!) --- for like 2 weeks... seriously ... I couldn't lay down at all -- had to spend two weeks in my recliner -- it was horrible -- and I could barely walk -- just pain pain pain --- and ever since then -- I have had the WORST heart burn (never had it before) -- no matter what I eat -- cheese, cereal, mild foods, sugar, sauces -- everything gives me heart burn -- it's horrible!!! Ask a lot of ?'s from your surgeon ... a lot say you can control the damage with diet... not saying that will work -- but just make sure he/she gets all the air out from the surgery... I don't wish that pain on anyone!!! (well... maybe... lol!!!)Julie Tucker-Wolekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16120580254018653082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2891757498715854574.post-10728624112359869862012-05-31T17:33:38.091-07:002012-05-31T17:33:38.091-07:00What the what?! I'm currently waiting for The Girl in the Clockwork Collar, which is the second in the series, from the library. I'll let you know how it is!

Hope all goes well with the surgery. My best friend had hers out last summer, she said the diet wasn't terrible but she missed a lot of things like chinese food and cheeseburgers.Angela Spangelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05121058107005955378noreply@blogger.com
